Susie Sheffman

Susie Sheffman is one of the most influential fashion directors in the Canadian industry, having spent thirty years conceptualizing, styling and directing fashion stories for top magazines. Susie took an early interest in fashion, spending most of her free time as a child tracing models out of magazines. In the early 80’s, Susie was hired by Bonnie Fuller at Flare Magazine, where she went on to become Fashion Editor.

In 2001 Susie took on the Fashion Director position at FASHION magazine which she held until 2012 before moving over into the online world at Eluxe. During her prolific career she has had the rare opportunity to work with such Fashion icons as Kevyn Aucoin, Walter Chin, Cliff Watts, and supermodels Linda Evangelista, Shalom Harlow, Yasmeen Ghauri, Liya Kebede, Jessica Stam, Daria Werbowy and Coco Rocha. She has worked with numerous celebrities including Ashley Olsen, Jennifer Hudson, Daryl Hannah, Claire Danes, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Rihanna and Hilary Duff. Susie has also helped shape numerous top advertising campaigns including Holt Renfrew, Club Monaco, Winners, Linda Lundstrom, and Jones New York.

Sheffman was one of a select few Canadian editors who regularly attended international shows and brings her knowledge and trend forecasting to every brand she works with.
