Cary Tauben

Born and raised in Montreal, Cary Tauben began his prolific career at the age of 20. At the age of 21 he took the position of Fashion Editor for Dress To Kill Magazine and has since accomplished more in his young short career than most seasoned stylists. Cary progressively built a reputation for portraying both gritty realism, hard-edged minimalism and graphic modernity that has landed him at the forefront of today’s new guard of fashion.

Cary’s meticulous editorial work with Canada’s top photographers including Max Abadian, Gabor Jurina and Chris Nichols featuring supermodels like Irina Lazeraneau, Coco Rocha and Heather Marks has been featured in publications such as Flare, Elle, Luxor, DTK and Clin D’oeil. Along with his extensive editorial work, Cary’s talent for creating clean, precise looks have garnered the attention and established significant collaborations with designers Pink Tartan, Pavoni, DUY, Travis Taddeo, Melissa Nepton and Barila.

“What I love most about my work is inspiring those around me to have fun with fashion. I work on different scales of fashion. On one side I deal with really high end clothing; Givenchy, Louis Vuitton and Chanel – This is where I create a fantasy. On the other hand I deal with low end fast fashion where I get to make these brands look and feel expensive. That aspect of my job is so much fun for me because I make the fantasy a reality.”
